Rex Howard’s Landscaping & Excavating, LLC.
Rex Howards Landscaping and Excavating, LLC is a family business founded by Rex and Ruby Howard in 1969.
Our company got it’s beginnings with one wheelbarrow, an array of hand tools and a 1960 model Buick. At that time Rex was employed with the state of Tennessee on a survey crew which worked primarily on road surveying including the path of Interstate 40. Most work was done in the evenings and on weekends after Rex returned from his job with the state. As business grew and the work load increased to a level that required full time attention Rex resigned from his job with the state and opened Howard’s Construction Company. All types of work was performed from landscaping, excavating, demolition to tree removal.
